- Welcome to our website.
Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team (AMRT) is a registered charity that operates in North West Wales and
Snowdonia. We are staffed by approximately 30 volunteers and are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The team is funded almost
entirely through voluntary contributions.
AMRT provides a search and rescue service, not just on the mountains but covering the
whole of North West Wales, including urban and rural areas and along the coasts of North Wales, thereby providing a service to the
whole of the community.
We work closely with all of the other emergency services, including Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade,
Coast Guard, RNLI, RAF Mountain Rescue and Air Ambulance.
